ermagherd.

Before I even begin, I need to bring to light something that has given me some belly-achin' laughs lately. Have you seen this website! www.dog-shaming.com.

I am cracking up! Some of my favorites:

Numero Dos.
Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears.

1. Open water. This fear has gotten progressively out of hand over the years. I probably should stop watching Shark Week re-runs...

2. Remember when I said this would get personal? Don't make assumptions off of this one, because I can't even fathom it, but I am afraid of failing in my marriage. I never.. ever.. want to hear the word divorce come up between Christian and I. I know it is a completely unwarranted fear, but I can't help but look around me and see so many couples not lasting. It's a legitimate issue, but I know that God intended this marriage to be forever. C and I are committed to make it happen.

3. I am fearful of something terrible happening to the people I love. I may need to be sedated just thinking about it.

Slacker

Is it too soon for a "I need to start posting more" blog post? I'm already procrastinating with my postings! Statistics seems to not only take up a lot of my time, but almost all of my thoughts and energy... ick. Only two more weeks...

Since this blog was intended to be some sort of online journal, I think this next month will be a questionnaire that really focuses on self-reflection. What's neat is that any of the readers will also get a glimpse into what makes me, me! I think these things can be really MySpace-ish. Maybe that's why I enjoy them ;)...

For the next month, probably not every day, but for each posting, I will be answering these questions:

1. List 20 random facts about yourself.
2. Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears.
3. Describe your relationship with your parents.
 4. List 10 things you would tell your 16 year-old self, if you could.
5. What are the 5 things that make you most happy right now?
 6. What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced?
7. What is your dream job, and why?
8. What are 5 passions you have?
9. List 10 people who have influenced you and describe how.
10. Describe your most embarrassing moment.
11. Describe 10 pet peeves you have.
12. Describe a typical day in your current life.
13. Describe 5 weaknesses you have.
14. Describe 5 strengths you have.
15. If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
16. What are your 5 greatest accomplishments?
17. What is the thing you most wish you were great at?
18. What has been the most difficult thing you have had to forgive?
19. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
20. Describe 3 significant memories from your childhood.

30. List 10 things you would hope to be remembered for.

I just read over those again; IT'S ABOUT TO GET PERSONAL. haha. I think this will be fun.

Here goes #1...

List 20 random facts about yourself.

  1. I can't physically, mentally, or emotionally live without Burts Bees chapstick.
  2. I have a love/hate relationship with my nails. Some days I love them. Sometimes I want to wear mittens.
  3. I love heels but I can't walk in them. At least not gracefully! Now wedges... I love.
  4. I only buy discounted or thrift shop clothes and shoes. Rarely, I mean rarely will I buy something full price. I love TJ Maxx, Goodwill, and Plato's Closet. When I do buy things at full price, I shop at Forever 21 where a dress runs around $17.
  5. I really love school; I want to get my Doctorate.
  6. Pumpkin anything is my favorite. Pie, candles, coffee... mm.
  7. I love to read blogs! I stumble upon the most random ones. I spend more time reading others than I do maintaining my own. These two are my favorite:
    1. Rockstar Diaries
    2. 71 Toes
  8. I am a list-maker. If I weren't, I would forget everything! Either that or drive myself crazy by trying to remember everything I have to do. What's worse is when I know I haven't written something down. I have nightmares over these things. Neurotic much?
  9. I love family athletic events. Football in the street... Cornhole in the park... Being playful with each other is such a fun way to stay connected and love on each other.
  10. I read & listen to NPR religiously. Not because I am affiliated with whatever party I'm sure you think they are affiliated with, but because I like to read the comments people leave.
  11. I love love love the Gaither's and old gospel music.
  12. Keeping up with the Jones' stresses me outttttttttttt. Not that the Jones' are a particular group of people, but just trying to keep up with what I feel we should have or be doing at this point in our lives. Such a stressful and unnecessary thing.
  13. I really hate being wrong.
  14. It doesn't take much to hurt my feelings. I'm way too fragile.
  15. My heart is in serving others. Partly why I can't wait to be a mom. Also why I have thought a lot about being a teacher.
  16. I sleep on my stomach with my arms tucked under me and my legs sprawled. This makes Christian have to either lay on top of my legs or scrunch to the edge of the bed. He tries to draw a line to show where my half of the bed ends. ;)
  17. Christian and I spend way too much money eating out. It's my favorite thing to do! I don't really care what we eat; I just love the fellowship that comes with going out.
  18. I eat chocolate every day. lol
  19. I have a strange habit of biting. haha. When I wrestle, that's the first thing I go for. Totally not cool, I know.
  20. When I'm home alone I blare 90s country and dance around in my kitchen. Thank you Reba.

Baha. XO!
